Wall Light 210, black/white – Timeless design with iconic styling

The Wall Light 210 is an icon of the 20th century. Its roots go back to 1922, when Bernard-Albin Gras put the first carefully considered sketches to paper. Since then, the range has expanded and is presented here in a version with a black frame and a white metal shade. Conceived for offices and industrial settings, the series was unique in its simple, robust yet ergonomic design. The basic form featured neither screws nor welded seams.

The lights in the Lampe Gras series by DCW epitomise functionalism and aesthetics. In particular, the design of the individual details – such as the arms, body, fittings and the assembly of the parts – displays a well-thought-out originality that was far ahead of its time. Le Corbusier was fascinated by the modern design of the Lampe Gras lights from an early stage and used them in his projects.
