Training: Bachelor in design from Rhode Island School of Design and Master in industrial design from Domus Academy in Milano.

History
Jozeph Forakis has designed the well-known Havana Lamps for Forscarini. His work is well known through out the world, for his great use of materials and tegniques

He was born in New York City and went to design schools in both Rhode Island and Milan. In 1993 he started working with large companies such as Consumer Electronic, Foscarini, LG Electronics, Magis, Nemo, Philips, Swarovsky and Swatch.

In 1999 to 2002 he was the European CEO of designs at Motorola and designed the ground breaking V70 Mobile phone.

Many galleries around the globe shows the work of Joseph Forakis, and he still continues to design great lamps and products.
