Conditions for Lampemesteren Competitions

We love hosting competitions for you, and we run LOTS of them. You can read our conditions and rules for participating in our competitions below.

Facebook competitions

When participating in a Facebook competition, you enter the competition by writing a comment in the comment section. You can always read the competition post to find out how to enter.

Your comment acts as consent for us to get in touch on Facebook and publish your name in a Facebook post in the event that you turn out to be the lucky winner.
Instagram competitions

Instagram competitions

When participating in an Instagram competition, you can always find the entry criteria in the Instagram post itself. Your participation will often be tied to a comment, and this comment acts as consent for us to publish your name in a story and Instagram post in the event that you turn out to be the lucky winner.

The winner will be contacted by Direct Message.

Newsletter subscription competitions

When we host competitions where you need to sign up to our newsletter, you’ll automatically be signed up to our newsletter/loyalty club. That means that we’ll start sending you emails filled with inspiration, offers, campaigns, and news.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any point by clicking the link at the bottom of the newsletter that you’ve received from us. If you’re having problems with unsubscribing, you can always get in touch with our customer service who’ll remove you from the list as quickly as possible.

We sometimes host competitions with external collaborators where you need to subscribe to enter, in which case you’ll automatically be signed up for our newsletter as well as our collaborator’s newsletter. The competition will be clear in stating what you’ll be subscribing to.

If you’ve participated in a competition by signing up for our newsletter, the winner won’t be published but rather contacted directly by email.

Contacting the winner

We’ll always get in touch with the winner and ask to receive the following information in order to send them their prize. The information is used exclusively for shipping purposes to allow the prize to get to you. Your email and phone number are used by GLS to keep you updated on the shipping process.

If the winner doesn’t contact us

If we don’t hear from the winner within 14 days of us drawing and contacting them, we WON’T select a new winner but rather use the GIVEAWAY in a different competition at a later point. The winner is responsible for checking their message requests, comments, and junk mail.

As soon as possible after we’ve received the delivery address etc., we’ll get the prize on its way to the lucky winner. We endeavour to have our prizes in stock so that the winner doesn’t incur an unnecessary wait. In connection with competitions that allow you to choose between models and colours, you may have to wait for delivery. The winner is always welcome to get in touch to inquire about the expected delivery time.

We always ship directly to the winner’s address. If you prefer delivery to a pick-up point or a different address, we ask that you inform us of this when you get in touch.


There is of course a two-year guarantee on any lamp you win in a competition. You can read more about our guarantee policy here.

If you wish to file a complaint regarding any lamp you’ve won in a competition, we ask that you get in touch with our customer service.

Free bulb

When you shop at Lampemesteren, we often include a free bulb. This is NOT the case for GIVEAWAYS.
