The PH family

The PH family

Designer Poul Henningsen is known for the PH series and the three shade system, designed to shape light optimally. The PH series continues to be one of Louis Poulsen’s best sellers and is under constant development and renewal. As an example, the PH 5 has just celebrated its 60th anniversary by releasing a special version in the same colour palette as the new PH 5 mini.

AJ family

AJ family

The AJ lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1960, and its design is based on geometric forms that focus light exactly where it’s needed. The AJ lamps unique lines, the volume of the shade and the round hole in the base give it a distinctively sculptural form that is extremely popular the world over. Louis Poulsen has given the AJ family a large, lovely colour palette, specially selected and closely connected to Arne Jacobsen’s own design universe.
Panthella

Panthella

Louis Poulsen is a brand in constant movement and development, something that can be seen in their new introductions. Among others you can now get your hands on the brand new Panthella MINI table lamp in chrome, which reflects its surroundings and adds both life and elegance to a room.
NJP

NJP

NJP is a well-known futuristic lamp series that has just been expanded with a softer model in lovely aluminium grey colour – ideal for a modern design scheme. The NJP lamp is flexible and useful from start to finish.
Crique

Crique

The Cirque pendant has just been launched in shades of grey, which focusses attention on the lamps beautiful shape. The grey colour gives the Cirque pendant a more discreet and welcoming look, still providing a soft, atmospheric light to its surroundings.
Keglen

Keglen

BIG Ideas, in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, created the Keglen lamp in 2017. Originally created for the Tirpitz Museum in Blåvand - a building designed by BIG Ideas - the Kegel's raw, galvanized surface was a perfect match for the museum's delicate and robust architecture.

The series started with a pendant, but further development between Louis Poulsen and BIG Ideas meant that the Kegel's single geometry can now be enjoyed in a multitude of variations. The symmetrical design language and metallic shade is met by a soft and organic glass insert that resembles a drop of water suspended by surface tension.

Yuh

Yuh

The Yuh series consists of a table lamp, a floor lamp and a wall lamp that are available in black and white. The lamp’s most important characteristic is that it’s individual. It’s the lamp that was made just for you! It’s flexible – it can be turned, raised and lowered all the while providing light and creating a mood. See the entire beautiful series here.
VL Studio

VL Studio

It was an exciting addition to the Vilhelm Lauritzen and Louis Poulsen collaboration when VL Studio was relaunched in 2022. The VL lamps were originally created for the old DR radio house in Copenhagen in the 1940s - and its continued modern and contemporary look is an example of Vilhelm Lauritzen's great design skills and Louis Poulsen's nose for aesthetics and light.

VL Studio includes table lamps, floor lamps and wall lights that all share the same exquisite expression. A circular shape cut above the equator, consisting of a luminaire and opalized glass. VL Studio is available in both black and brass.

Flindt

Flindt

Award-winning Danish designer and architect Christian Flindt, in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, created these two enormously beautiful lamps that are sure to add instant outdoor lighting to outdoor living spaces such as private parks, courtyards and gardens - without compromising on the quality of light or design.

Garden was created in 2011 when looking for a refined lighting solution for a park at Brænderigården in Jutland, now known as Viborg Kunsthal. Louis Poulsen further developed with Christian Flindt, optimizing the bollard in terms of material quality, light distribution and efficiency.

Bysted Garden

Bysted Garden

With a dream of creating a bollard that was not only beautiful in itself, but that also decorated its surroundings, Peter Bysted created this lamp in 1975. The outdoor lamp has a round symmetrical design with four rings that reflect the light downwards, creating rings and patterns around the lamp. The beautiful relaunch from Louis Poulsen removes the visible bolts that were at the top of the original, giving the lamp a more streamlined look - but other than this, the lamp is unchanged in every way other than size - the Bysted Garden is smaller than the original.

Available in two different heights, the lamp is great in rural settings, suburban privet hedge gardens and around commercial buildings. Whether installed in natural surroundings or in urban garden environments, Bysted Garden is sure to create an attractive atmosphere.

Toldbod

Toldbod

The Toldbod 120 series is designed with the philosophy that the simpler a design is the more flexible it is. Toldbod was originally designed in 1982 and has since been redesigned based on the pendant’s predecessors. Now the Toldbold 120 is showing its softer side, and is available in a broad range of sophisticated new colours that give it an even more versatile profile that matches the modern aesthetic and follows contemporary design trends.
