PH 2/2 Question Mark. Louis Poulsen launches a Limited Edition of Poul Henningsen’s classic designs every autumn to pay tribute to his work in light design and his fascination with the human need for light and dark. His philosophy remains a cornerstone of the Louis Poulsen range to this day.
PH 2/2 Question Mark was designed in 1931. With a brass frame, the relaunch stays true to the original design without compromising on its relevance in modern décor. The lamp is equipped with the famous three-shade system developed by Poul Henningsen back in 1926. The three glass-blown lampshades are made with opal glass, which is glossy on the surface and features a matte sandblasted interior. The semi-transparent lampshades emit an inviting light when the lamp is on.
With the help of the small handle on the middle of the curve frame, the upper part of the lampshade can be moved from side to side, giving you plenty of opportunity to adjust the direction of the light. This makes Question Mark the perfect desk lamp, whether you need a practical reading or work light.
Note that the untreated brass will develop a natural patina with time, and each lamp will eventually grow into a unique look.
Limited Edition – Available from October 1st until December 31st, 2021 (Available for pre-order from September 1st, 2021).
