The Hit of the Year - Kaiser Idell Table Lamp, Special Edition
Christian Dell was in charge of Bauhaus’ metal workshop and had a phenomenal eye for detail. He designed the Kaiser Idell Luxury Table Lamp, which was first brought to light in 1931. Although the lamp has almost 90 years to its name, it remains popular. The versatile and minimalist lamp is the perfect addition to any modern décor, and it remains a clear symbol of the Bauhaus movement.

The Bauhaus period celebrates its hundredth anniversary in 2019, and in that connection, Fritz Hansen is launching the table lamp in a special edition. The elegant and timeless table lamp will be available with brass details that are still going strong and serve as the perfect complement to the Nordic style of décor. The warm, golden colour forms a great contrast to the base and the lampshade, which have a matt black lacquer, giving the lamp an overall sophisticated look.

The lamp collection is built on the patented swivel (1930) and has “Original KAISER Idell” stamped on the top of the characteristic lampshade.

There’s no doubt that the new, lovely Kaiser Idell Table Lamp in black and brass is an incredibly decorative element designed for the trends of our time, and we expect that it’ll be the big hit of the year!
